Plan your day so that your remain at
your old residence until the movers leave, and make arrangements for
any children or pets to stay out of harms way during the packing
process.
Review the packing inventory prepared by the movers. Be sure to
retain a copy for your records.
When the movers are finished, be sure you check the entire home to
ensure that all items have been packed. Check all closets, drawers,
cupboards, the attic, basement and the garage.
Give the moving company a phone number where you can be reached
reroute to your destination. |
